On my way to Valhalla. I grabbed a twelve pack at the village store at the bottom of the hill. I was on my way to visit my cousin Odin. Now Odin was a big boy, some considered him a God, But to me, he was just a fat redneck from Iceland. A Viking yes but a God give me a break... He ran this club in Asgard. It was at the top of the mountain and the view was the shit. It was a place for the chosen dead to hang out. The fallen warriors of battles sat around and shared stories about battle they had fought and monsters they have defeated.
Ass-guard what a funny name huh? A little homophobic I reckon.

About half way up the path I ran into these four really hot witches and introduced my self. “Howdy, I’m Hans.” I proclaimed. “ Whatcha doing ? “ They were real friendly and started telling me of their quest. I knew this was going to take a while so I popped me open a cold one and sat on a big rock, making sure the rest of the beverages were in reach. The sun was beginning to set and the evening was going to have a chill to it so I started a small fire and we all gathered around.
The story I was hearing was shocking to say the least. It seems that most folks were getting their facts messed up. They some how were mixing stories and cultures and the biggest twisting of truths were being made by none other than Titania the Queen of the Fairies. That reminds of an excerpt from somewhere.

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine:
There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,
Lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight;
And there the snake throws her enamell'd skin,
Weed wide enough to wrap a fairy in

Most legendary and mythological creatures stay within their own realm. They all have a time, a place, and a story to pass on. It’s how it works, It’s what we are taught in school when we get our learn on. Now a day’s fairies are getting into everything and everybody else’s stories. From what I was hearing the time had come to put fairies back where they belong. In their own mythological time frame once and for all. Beowulf, Hercules, and the likes were content. Their stories still to this day were being shared . Even the great Stan Lee of old was being read and he never felt a need to step on another’s toes in one hulking stomp for recognition. Why then were the fairies? They have their place to throw sparkles and play mischievously in the meadows. Why were they coming to Valhalla and why couldn’t they stay away from Rivendell and the Misty Mountains?
As the evening turned into night and the twelve I bought turned into four the story was astounding. I was told that the queen of the witches Hecate was putting these four sexy witches in charge of the daunting task of repairing the damage done by the imposing fairies. I wasn’t quite sure who this Hecate was so they let me in on her little rant she had been known to spew during her self made introductions.
I am Hecate, Queen of The Witches--Sorceress, Psychic, Crone, Hag.
I ride through the night sky, bathing the landscape in supernatural light.
Guardian of the Unconscious; Mistress of the Night; Holder of the Key.
I am Hecate; I command Earth, Sea and Sky;
I control the lunar cycles; I control your menstrual cycles; Goddess of Life and Birth
I am Hecate the ultimate Feminine.
Now that didn’t quite answer my question on who she was, but I gathered she was some higher up in the wiccan chain. The fire was dwindling and the twelve was history. The chill of the night was the reason I was asked to stay. I was promised in the morn the rest of their quest would be revealed.....
Mean while back in the states Maw and Paw have there own problems.
